Regular Monthly Meeting Minutes
Thursday September 10, 2026
Meeting was called to order at 7:01 pm at inVenture North in Marinette by club President Jim Callow, K8IR.
Motion to approve the June meeting minutes was made by Paul Cavaliaro, NJ9V and seconded by Paul Sorensen, NS8V. The motion was accepted and carried.
Treasures Report: Paul Sorensen, NS8V reported the income and expenditures for July and August. The ending balance for the month of August was $4,075.15 + the 12-month CD.
Correspondence: Lunch with Arde is this Saturday at the Peshtigo Corral. A thank you was received from the MS challenge walk group for use of our repeater for their event in Door County.
Committee Reports
ARES Report: The Fall SET is scheduled for October 3rd. Mike and Doug took the communications trailer to the Menominee County National Night Out in Stephenson. Tom Philipps in the process of updating the county’s Emergency Action Guideline manual, he will have Mike Lemke, KD8FUE review the communications section with the ARES group.
Fundraiser: No report
YACHT: No report – Ed Engleman, KG8CX is currently in rehab and is working with the YACHT group from his PC.
Web/ARRL: Steve Mellenthin, K9STT is working on moving the club’s website to a new server. ARRL was updated in June with our change of officers from the last election.
Old Business
Club Picnic: The picnic turned out well and the weather was very nice that day.
Field Day: Over 1,000 QSO’s were made from our field day site the year. A motion was made by KD8FUE and seconded by Noel Beardsley, K8NB to give a thank you card with a $100 gift to the Jones family for use of their property for field day.

Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by K9STT and seconded NS8V. The motion was accepted and carried. Meeting ended at 7:26 pm.
