Regular Monthly Meeting Minutes
Thursday June 11, 2026
Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm at inVenture North in Marinette by club President Jim Callow, K8IR.
Motion to approve the May meeting minutes was made by Mike Lemke, KD8FUE and seconded by Noel Beardsley, K8NB. The motion was accepted and carried.
Treasures Report: Paul Sorensen, NS8V reported the recent income and expenditures. The ending balance for the month of May was $4,765.76 + the 12-month CD. Motion to accept the treasures report was made by Doug Dooley, KD8OVR and seconded by Paul Cavallaro, NJ9V. The motion was accepted and carried.

Committee Reports
ARES Report: The Marinette Menominee ARES group placed 14 out of 22 during the May SET. The trailer is now parked at Mike Lemke’s house.
Fundraiser: No report
YACHT: No report
Old Business
Club Picnic: Pavilion #1 has been reserved for Sunday August 9th at Henes Park
Field Day: We will continue to run field day as we have the past couple of years, with setup at 3:00 pm on Friday. NS8V will reserve the porta potty, AJ will be there with his solar powered station. Rich and Sandy are donating the hamburger and NS8V is donating the brats for the Saturday meal. KD8OVR will purchase a canopy shelter for the generator and donate it to the club.
New Business
July and August Meetings: There will not be a July club meeting and the August meeting will be held at the club picnic if needed.
Announcements: AJ Pawlowski, KB7KZ announced the upcoming 13 colonies special event https://www.13colonies.us/. The club member that makes the most contacts will be awarded a prize by AJ at the club picnic in August.
Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by NS8V and seconded Mike Sobeck, KD9IGW. The motion was accepted and carried. Meeting ended at 7:41 pm.
