Regular Monthly Meeting Minutes
Thursday February 12, 2026
Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm at inVenture North in Marinette by club President Jim Callow, K8IR.
Motion to approve the January meeting minutes was made by Paul Sorensen, NS8V and seconded by Mike Lemke, KD8FUE. The motion was accepted and carried.
Treasures Report: NS8V reported the recent income and expenditures. The ending balance for the month of January was $4,784.05 + $2,000 in the 12-month CD. NS8V also noted the membership renewals were down this year and we should add a reminder in the Ground Wave. Doug Dooley reported the financial audit was completed and everything looked good, the ending balance matched the bank statement. Motion to accept the treasures report was made by Robert Juhlin, W8AWF and seconded by KD8OVR. The motion was accepted and carried.
Correspondence: KE9ALV sent an email with information on a Zoom meeting with NASA Apollo Flight Controllers. The full information was printed in the Ground Wave.
Committee Reports
ARES Report: W8AWF reported a Zoom based MI CIMS class is being put together. You will need Tom Philipps approval to attend. Contact W8AWF if you are interested.
Old Business
After Christmas Party: All that attended had a good time and the food was good.
Ham Radio Classes: KD8OVR reported they have four people in the class and they are halfway through. The VE session will be held on March 5th.
Ham Breakfast: W8AWF reported he will keep the breakfast’s going at the same location and time. The next breakfast will be held on March 7th.

Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by NS8V and seconded Mike Sobeck, KD9IGW. The motion was accepted and carried. Meeting ended at 7:25 pm.
