Regular Monthly Meeting Minutes
Thursday June 12, 2025
Meeting was called to order at 7:02 pm at inVenture North in Marinette by club President Jim Callow, K8IR.
Motion to approve the May meeting minutes was made by Mike Lemke, KD8FUE and seconded by Paul Sorensen, NS8V. The motion was accepted and carried.
Treasures Report: NS8V reported no transactions were made during the month of May. The ending balance for the month was $7,197.10. Motion to accept the treasures report was made by Ed Engleman, KG8CX and seconded by Doug Dooley KD8OVR. The motion was accepted and carried.

Committee Reports
ARES Report: KD8FUE reported the Michigan Governor has proclaimed the week of June 22nd Amateur Radio Week.
Fundraiser: Nothing to report.
Yacht Report: KG8CX reported the group has added 29 new members this year. The newest member is a 9 year old from lower Michigan who is now the youngest member of the group.
ARRL/Webmaster Report: No report.
Old Business
Field Day: Needs and setup for Field Day were discussed. There will be food on Saturday afternoon. Set up will occur on Friday, June 27th. Field Day is June 28th and 29th this year.
Bicycle Tour: The WiMi Wish Ride will be August 9th and 10th. There will be a need for about four volunteers each day to man rest stops with radios.
Escanaba Link: Pete Johnson, AB9PJ has been in contact with the Escanaba Club and they were ready to go on their end. There is a UHF business band antenna and line on the Rangeline Rd tower we might be able to use, otherwise we may need to purchase an antenna and line.
Summer Picnic: No update.
Dry Erase Board: No update.
UHF Amp: No update.
Menominee County Radio System: No update.
New Business
Communication Trailer Radios: KD8FUE is looking for the mic and power supply that goes with the IC-7300 radio in the trailer. K8IR will check the radio station garages. KD8FUE also suggested we look for a different radio to run WIRES-X so the FTM-400 can be used in the trailer.
Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by NS8V and seconded KD8FUE. The motion was accepted and carried. Meeting ended at 7:37 pm.
