Regular Monthly Meeting Minutes
Thursday October 8, 2026
Meeting was called to order at 7:02 pm at inVenture North in Marinette by club President Jim Callow, K8IR. A moment of silence was observed in honor of Ed Engleman, KG8CX.
Motion to approve the September meeting minutes with corrections was made by Paul Sorensen, NS8V and seconded by Doug Dooley, KD8OVR. The motion was accepted and carried.
Treasures Report: Paul Sorensen, NS8V reported the income and expenditures for September. The ending balance for the month of September was $3,994.53 + the 12-month CD. Motion to accept the treasures report was made by KD8OVR and seconded by Noel Beardsley, K8NB. The motion was accepted and carried.
Correspondence: A thank you card was received from the Engelman family.
Committee Reports
ARES Report: The new radios and antennas were tested during the fall SET. The 2 m/70 cm radio and yagi antenna worked well and the Icom IC-7300 with inverted V hooked to the mast made contacts. The IC-7300 needs to be configured to work with Winlink on 40 meters.

New Business
After Christmas Party: Mike Lemke, KD8FUE is working on the after Christmas party. Possible dates are January 9th or 16th. There was discussion on having the meal buffet/family style or off the menu.

Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Robert Juhlin, W8AWF and seconded NS8V. The motion was accepted and carried. Meeting ended at 7:19 pm.
