Marinette & Menominee Amateur Radio Club
Regular Monthly Meeting Minutes
Thursday November 13, 2025
Meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm at inVenture North in Marinette by club President Jim Callow, K8IR.
Motion to approve the October meeting minutes was made by Robert Juhlin, W8AWF and seconded by Doug Dooley, KD8OVR. The motion was accepted and carried.
Treasures Report: NS8V reported the recent income and expenditures. The ending balance for the month of October was $6,564.83. Motion to accept the treasures report was made by KD8OVR and seconded by Ed Engleman, KG8CX. The motion was accepted and carried.
Correspondence: A thank you letter was received from the DAR Boys & Girls Club for the $50 gift in memory of Eric.
Committee Reports
ARES Report: W8AWF reported he will start attending quarterly meetings.
Fundraiser: No report
Yacht Report: KG8CX reported things are going will, nothing new to report.

New Business
After Christmas Party: The club will again be holding an after Christmas party. Mike Lemke, KD8FUE will check on location options. KD8FUE suggested the club consider a limited menu with a $10 flat fee with the club would pick up the remainder of the cost.
Ham Radio Classes: KD8OVR is planning to hold ham radio classes in February.
Elections: Elections for club officers is coming up in January, an election committee will need to be put together.
Club Funds: KD8OVR suggested we put some of our club funds into a CD or other type of account to earn interest. NS8V will look into it.
Club Property: KD8OVR suggested we go through the items the club has stored in the radio station garage and sell or get rid of items we no longer need or want.
Announcements: KG8CX has been awarded the Yasme Foundation Excellence Award for his contributions to amateur radio.
Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by NS8V and seconded W8AWF. The motion was accepted and carried. Meeting ended at 7:35 pm.
