Welcome them on the Air!

Doug (KD8OVR) and his teaching crew have a great track record of getting prospective hams over the learning curve.

Thanks to Doug and all the trainers & VE's for their fantastic efforts!

 With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth W. Exworthy, N0AWM of Marinette, Wisconsin, born in Menominee, Michigan, who passed away on March 3, 2024 at the age of 88.  Ken was a long time Ham and member of our club. We would like to express our deepest sympathies to Ken's family and friends - he will be missed.

Sadly, we announce the passing of another Ham, AA8UT has become a Silent Key.  On March 4, 2024 we said goodbye to Robert Ewald Johnson of Menominee, Michigan, born in Ogilvie, Minnesota. 

Bob's 40 foot tower was gifted to K9STT when he sold his house. It stands next to my house with a number of antennas and wires - what a difference in operating. His kindness & generosity will not be forgotten!

AFTER CHRISTMAS DINNER 

Jan. 20, 2024 

Our annual "After" Christmas Dinner was a fun evening of friendship and comradery! About 18 hungry hams got together for some great food at the Whistle Stop, just north of Menominee. It was a pleasure seeing Eric (KG9GH) and Cheryl (KB9NTN) who were attending a wedding party next door at the Pullman House. The White Elephant gift exchange was fun and entertaining as always!

Best of all, our Christmas get-together is the gateway to longer days as I noticed there was still sun out as we drove north on highway 41 at 4:45.  The promise of more get togethers, and better weather lies ahead!

 

2024 membership dues are payable now. Dues are $20 for individuals, and $30 for Families - Contact Paul Sorenson (NS8V) by filling out our Online Membership/Renewal

MEETINGS	Meetings are at inVenture North located at 1320 Main St, Marinette, WI on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7 PM. All are welcome to attend, especially if you are interested in becoming licensed!
