Financial and Property Review Report

Financial Review:

Treasurer Mike L., KD8FUE, could not attend the review meeting in person, but did supply the necessary documentation for such review. The beginning balance of $4258.56 and the ending balance of $4559.29 matched the amounts shown on the Stephenson National Bank statements. There was a favorable $300.73 in income generated in 2021. Individual account entries for both revenues and expenses were reviewed and all looked proper.

The suggestions noted in last year’s review have been implemented – more frequent review of club financial statements by the President and the directors and the use of Excel comments for more detailed explanations of account entries.

Mike is to issue donation receipt letters to those who made contributions to the club.

No significant errors, improprieties or other actionable deficiencies were found during this review.

Property Review:

Property Clerk Bruce C, N9CON, presented a nice Excel spreadsheet listing Club properties. All of the club major equipment was listed on the inventory. There were some donated items that were not included and Bruce will be supplied with the name of these items for inclusion.

Bruce will maintain the master inventory list, but will send copies as items are added/disposed to officers for backup purposes.

Review of Property Clerk and Property Review sections of the Club constitution and bylaws revealed that some changes are required and these will be developed and submitted to the membership for approval.
